Boat tour to Skiathos from Agios Ioannis and Mouresi

Boat tour to Skiathos from Agios Ioannis and Mouresi

Departure from the Port of Agios Ioannis, Mouresi, heading towards… the island of carefree vibes and vibrant life! With Seanthesy Cruises, experience an unforgettable full-day boat tour to Skiathos, characterized by comfort, style, and a spirit of exploration. The journey aboard our modern speedboat is fast, safe, and filled with breathtaking views: endless blue, lush green hills, rocky cliffs, and crystal-clear waters.

Skiathos is world-renowned for its beaches, and we make sure to take you to the very best. Starting from the exotic Lalaria, with its trademark white pebbles and iconic rock arch, we continue to stunning beaches like the magical Mikri Aselinos, the exotic Banana Beach, and the famous Koukounaries (ranked as one of the top ten most beautiful beaches in Greece according to HellasJournal.com). We will also visit the lively Vromolimnos with its beach bars, and many more. If you wish, a stop for lunch or coffee can be arranged at one of the many seaside fish taverns, such as those at Diamanti Beach or Sklithri. The tour wraps up with free time in the afternoon at the old port of Skiathos Town (Chora), where the idyllic island scenery perfectly completes the experience.

Beyond its unparalleled natural beauty, Skiathos boasts deep historical roots. It is the birthplace and home of Alexandros Papadiamantis, the “saint of Greek literature,” who uniquely captured island life, traditions, and the human soul through his masterpieces. His childhood home, now a museum, still stands in the heart of Chora, inviting every visitor to connect with the spiritual and cultural soul of the island. Skiathos is a destination that knows how to move you—not just with its sights, but with its stories.

This cruise is not just a day trip—it is a holistic experience blending natural beauty, relaxation, and pure freedom. With a small number of passengers, an experienced skipper, and personal care in every detail, Seanthesy promises you a day filled with sun, sea, and the authentic feeling of a Greek summer. Book your spot and let’s discover Skiathos… the way only the sea can reveal it.

Itinerary

08:30 – Departure from the port of Agios Ioannis Pelion in Mouresi.

09:30 – Arrival at Lalaria. We enjoy this breathtaking beach before 10:00 AM, ahead of the arrival of tourist tour boats, when the beach gets crowded.

10:30 – Cruising along the west side of the island, we make our next stop at Mikri Aselinos beach for a quick swim. The beach is accessible only by boat or via a hiking trail, making it peaceful and uncrowded.

11:30 – Continuing our cruise along the western coast, we make brief stops at any of the stunning beaches or coves that catch our eye, such as Elia, Agia Eleni, Mandraki, and Mikri Banana (well-known as a nudist-friendly beach). All these beaches feature turquoise waters and golden sand.

12:15 – We stop for a swim, coffee, and a snack at the famous Koukounaries, one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece. With pine trees stretching right to the water’s edge, vibrant beach bars and restaurants bustling with life, and visitors filling the area, Koukounaries gradually amps up the energy of our cruise.

14:00 – We depart and head south towards our next stop at Vromolimnos, a beach famous for its lively atmosphere and beach bars. Here we can swim, enjoy lunch at the seaside restaurants, or sip a cocktail/drink at the beachfront bars right by the waves.

15:30 – Continuing our tour around the island, if we haven’t had lunch yet, a stop at one of the seaside traditional fish taverns will absolutely reward us. Diamandi, Kanapitsa, or Sklithri will offer you plenty of delicious options for your lunch.

17:00 – Arrival at Skiathos Port, where we have just over an hour to visit the island’s main town (Chora), Bourtzi fortress, the Papadiamantis house, the Windmill with its stunning panoramic view, the old port, and the picturesque narrow alleys.

18:30 – We slowly set sail for our return, grabbing a quick coffee or an aperitif for the way back.

19:30 – Arrival back at the port of Agios Ioannis Pelion.
